The 2022 Volvo C40 Recharge is powered by the latest electric vehicle propulsion technology on the market. Electricity is stored in a 78 kWh battery pack that is located under the vehicle. This layout allows for a lower center of mass, which in turn gives the C40 Recharge solid and competent road manners and dynamic handing characteristics. The C40 Recharge is equipped with two electric motors, one on each axle, which can deliver a combined output of 402 horsepower to all four wheels. This makes it one of the fastest SUVs on the market, with a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of only 4.7 seconds. The C40 Recharge is also equipped to be as efficient as possible in order to provide you with the most range, which can reach up to 364 kilometers. To make long trips quicker and more pleasant, the C40 Recharge is capable of fast charging from 10% to 80% in only 33 minutes.
A Distinctive SUV
The 2022 Volvo C40 Recharge is a stylish crossover that is sure to make you stand out in traffic due to its characteristic roofline that curves down towards the rear and gives it a similar appearance to sporty coupes. Many typical Volvo design elements are also integrated in its design, such as the iron-mark grille ornament, the Thor’s hammer headlamps and the rear lamps that run alongside the rear window. This last element was introduced thirty years ago on Volvo wagons, but it was modernised especially for the C40 Recharge, where the LED strip is divided into separate blocks that give it a very unique look that can’t be mistaken
