Start/Stop
The start/stop feature is fairly straightforward. This feature shuts off the engine when you are stopped at a red light or even at a stop sign in order to prevent the vehicle from consuming fuel when idling.
Eco Mode
The Eco Mode function is a driving mode that Volvo drivers can select using a rotary dial near the gearbox or in the centre touchscreen. Eco Coast
Eco Coast is a unique function that disengages the automatic transmission from the engine in situations where coasting is possible. When you are going down a long hill, for example, and you have selected Eco Mode, your Volvo will automatically disengage the gearbox from the powertrain while you are coasting, saving a lot of fuel in the process by using kinetic energy.
